SAILING TO MOCONA FALLS

Los Saltos del Mocona are 10 meters high waterfalls that interrupt the course of the Uruguay River along 3 km, on the border between Brazil and Argentina. The particularity of these waterfalls, is that they are not transverse to the course of the waters like most of the waterfalls, are longitudinal. The channel where the falls fall is a great geological fault, and its depth reaches 170 meters in some points.
